Grey. The nondescript shade scattered everywhere for A/W 14. As part of a muted colour palette; Grey is bang on trend and has a certain understated sophistication about it. Often perceived as a bit of a "meh" colour- this season Grey is the opposite of drab, it's a an extremely versatile shade that will compliment pretty much any other shade in your wardrobe. Whether it's charcoal, gunmetal, ash grey or silver consider it your new Black substitute.

Being the hue that comes directly between Black and White it was inevitable this subdued colour was going to be a big hit; so if you plan on splashing out on a staple this season make it grey! I couldn't help but include this seasons must-have: thigh high boots. This Zara pair have been hovering in my basket on the website for a while now just waiting for me to purchase. In other news I'm concerned the existing Turtleneck's in my wardrobe may be breeding as I just seem to accumulate more and more each week, I think the phrase "you can never have too many" applies.
